Stiles Dentistry – Meet Your Doctors!

Since 1986, Stiles Dentistry has upheld the mission of delivering extraordinary care and service and offering individualized attention with detailed accuracy. Drs. Dennis J. Stiles, DDS, and Marie Tigani Stiles, DDS, have been working together for over 20 years providing patients in upper Montgomery County optimal dental healthcare and wellness for a lifetime. Both doctors received their Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, DC. Drs. Stiles were listed among the "Top Dentists" by Washingtonian Magazine in 1997, 2003, 2006 and 2011. Together they take over 100 hours of continuing education courses per year and they have both studied at the LD Pankey Institute in Florida.

Drs. Marie and Dennis Stiles believe that their love of dentistry has a lot to do with family values. Both of their fathers were dentists who instilled upon them the value of creating meaningful, lasting relationships with their patients and how having the ability to really help people be sucessful with their smiles offers a lifetime of reward. Both fathers loved dentistry and were a really positive influence on their lives.

Dr. Dennis Stiles, a native of Amherst, MA, has called upper Montgomery County home since 1986. Dr. Stiles is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the The American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists. He also served as past president of the American Prosthodontic Society (2006). In his free time, Dr. Stiles enjoys photography, golf, fly-fishing, and skiing. He is currently serving as a member of the Kentlands Community Foundation board and recently served as the president of the Archdiocese of the Washington Catholic School Board. He also is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Stiles was appointed to serve as a dean's faculty member at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore, Maryland in the spring of 2009.

Dr. Marie Stiles, a native of Bethesda, MD, has been working with patients in upper Montgomery County since 1986. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Southern Maryland Dental Society. She is a current member of the Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists where she served as president in 2000. Dr. Marie Stiles is also a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, a national organization that serves as a forum for education and research, and to promote safe and effective care through sedation dentistry. She serves on the membership committee of the ADSA. In 2010 Dr. Marie Stiles was inducted as a Fellow in the International College of Dentists. When she's away from the office, Dr. Stiles enjoys volunteering within the community and at her children's schools, as well as reading and traveling. Drs. Dennis and Marie Stiles have three children, Elizabeth, Andrew, and JP. Dr. Stiles was appointed to serve as a Dean's faculty member at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore, Maryland in the summer of 2009.
